This paper assesses how maritime chokepoint disruptions in the Red Sea/Suez corridor have affected global supply chains, freight costs, retail strategies, and consumer prices, while examining Türkiye’s dual position as both a potential beneficiary of nearshoring and an economy exposed to higher input and energy costs.
